Goalie Patrik Virtanen , Finland, signed for the second season (2019-2020) in Marseille Hockey Club (Spartiates de Marseille, France D1) after the very succesful season 2018-2019. The Autumn period of 2019 unfortunately was somewhat volatile as Patrik Virtanen as well as the whole team was shadowed by injuries. Luckily the fall period ended with a positive tone as on 2019 Dec 21 Marseille won the game against Dunkerque 2-1 and Virtanen was awarded as the best player of the team after a very strong performance.
